New Tutoring Hours (as of December 2023)

Tutoring is now from 3:15pm to 4:15pm.

Math Tutoring

Tutoring by Palms Math teachers is available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4:15pm.

This is an opportunity for students to receive extra help in math from some of our math teachers. Participation is first-come first-served.

There will be timed sign-in and sign-out sheets for all that attend.

Students are not required to stay the entire time, but they are not allowed to leave campus first and then return for math help.

No tutoring is available on shortened or minimum days.

There is no "late bus" for students who travel home on the after-school bus, so they will have to make their own arrangements.

Library Homework Help (all subjects)

Tutoring and homework help are available every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in the Library, from 3:15 to 4:15pm. There is no after-school homework help on Tuesday or on shortened or minimum days. The Library is open until 4:30pm on Monday and Wednesday.

A certificated teacher assists students with their homework. A sign-in sheet is maintained. Students must report by 3:15pm or have a pass signed by a teacher.

During the week of the Book Fair in the Library, after-school homework help will take place in the Student Cafeteria.

Writing Homework Help

6th grade students can get help with English Language Arts and other work after-school, starting at 3:15pm.

You can get help with any writing assignment in any subject, and with test preparation as well. No assignment is too short, even short response questions in Science and History.

Participation is first-come first-served. Students must arrive by 3:15pm.
