East West Players

East West Players logo

East West Players, the renowned theater company, runs an after-school drama club at Palms in the Spring semester.

Students learn to do improv, monologues, skits, and much more. The final play will be performed at their beautiful theater in Little Tokyo.

The club is open to all Palms students.

Ms. Kaitlyn Fajilan has been our Guest Theatre Instructor.

Club Meetings

We meet on Wednesdays in the Auditorium from 3:10pm to 4:20pm, starting a date to be announced in the Spring semester.

Magnet students can take the Late Bus if they have an approved application.

Our first meeting will be in Spring 2024, on a date to be announced.

Spring 2022: The Monologue Show

"The Monologue Show" took place on May 11, 2022.

The show's theme was "What is something that you really wanted badly in life and what was your experience acquiring this?"

Winter 2019: Happy Fam-Li-Days Showcase Performance

The student showcase was held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at East West Players in Little Tokyo/DTLA. East West Players is located at 120 Judge John Aiso Street.

Palms students performed their self-written monologues about winter family celebrations, some joyful, some filled with bittersweet memories, and some comical.

Spring 2019: Familylogues Showcase Performance

The student showcase was held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at East West Players in Little Tokyo/DTLA. East West Players is located at 120 Judge John Aiso Street.

Palms students performed monologues they wrote in honor of a particular family member with all their mannerisms and quirks.

Spring 2018 Performance

Palms actors performed their show, Conversations With Ourselves, a collaboration between East West Players and Palms Middle School. The performance was held in the East West Players' theater in Little Tokyo on Saturday, June 2, 2018.
