i-Ready
i-Ready, a product of Curriculum Associates, is an online program for reading and/or mathematics, designed to help teachers determine each student’s needs and monitor their progress throughout the school year.
Assessment tests are given three times each school year, in September, December, and April, using each student's computing device. Your student's English or Math teacher may also use the i-Ready Personalized Learning system for individualized instruction.
The assessment tests are adaptive, meaning that the questions that a student sees may depend on their answer to previous questions. A series of correct answers will result in slightly harder questions, while a series of incorrect answers will yield slightly easier questions. The goal is to identify each student's individual needs. In some cases, the results can help identify students who would benefit from additional instruction. They also assess overall school progress.
The tests are not used for grading, since not all students answer the same questions.

How to Access i-Ready Results
- Using the student's computing device, go to Schoology.
- Click the App Center icon on the top right, next to the magnifying glass.
- Select i-Ready.
- Select Reading or Math.
- Select My Progress.
- Select Completed Work.
- Scroll to Diagnostic.
What to Do on a Test Day
Make sure your child comes to school on time, well rested, having eaten a good breakfast, and with their device fully charged.
Curriculum Associates also recommends that you remind students to try their best on each question, to avoid rushing, and to expect that they will get about half the questions correct.
If your child is absent the day of a test, check if a make-up test day is available.
