Model of Excellence

A+The Palms Gifted/High Ability Magnet has been repeatedly designated as a Model of Excellence by LAUSD. This is the top category.

For a magnet school to be a Model of Excellence at least 75% of its students had to score at the proficient or advanced level in both English and Math on California Standards Tests. For a school to be a Center of Merit at least 50% of its students had to score at the proficient or advanced level.

Palms has not only met the Model of Excellence goal but has exceeded it significantly year after year.
