The late bus is for students who use Magnet transportation and are in after-school programs. An approved application is required.

Magnet Transportation

school bus Transportation is provided for Magnet students according to the LAUSD District Guidelines. Palms Magnet students may be eligible for transportation to a magnet school if they reside outside of a 5-mile radius "as the crow flies" (in linear miles), not the length of the route as shown by Google Maps.

If your child is eligible to receive transportation, the LAUSD Transportation Services Division will notify you by mail of the pick-up and drop-off location and time, before the opening of school, usually the week before school starts.

There is no application process, since notifications are automatic.
