Meet the Teacher
I would like to introduce myself to my new family at Palms Middle School.
I grew up in Hawthorne, just a few miles from Palms! I graduated from California State University Long Beach with my B.A. in Liberal Studies in 2012 and earned my M.A. in 2019.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling. I have traveled to Paris, London, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Russia, Mexico, and many states. I love Disneyland and have visited Mickey in Paris, Disney World, and Anaheim. I also love watching movies and spending quality time with family and friends.
I am thrilled to be your child’s 6th grade English and Social Studies teacher!
This is the beginning of a new and exciting journey for your children as they make their transition to Middle School. My classroom climate fosters positivity, active collaboration, and team building while respecting and embracing each other’s di!erences. My students will feel safe the moment they walk into their classroom.
I believe that communication is key to your child’s success as well as a strong foundational partnership between teacher/parent. I ask and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
