Meet the Teacher
I am a science teacher at Palms Middle School and I am excited to build a community with you, our Palms Family. To do so, I would like you to get to know me a little better.
I began my educational career here in Los Angeles at Santa Monica College before transferring to UC Berkeley to attain my bachelor's degree in Anthropology. I then went on to receive a master's degree in Biological Anthropology at CSU, Chico and decided to pursue my teaching credential in secondary education at CSU, Northridge. I have realized that Magnet Science by combining my passions of science, research, and teaching.
I have the great opportunity and privilege to support our students as they engage with the world through science. It's a crazy world out there and we could all benefit from getting to knowing it a little better!
