Welcome to Ms. Girvan's English and history page! I am looking forward to a wonderful year with you.
Meet the Teacher
As a lifelong Angeleno, I attended elementary, middle, and high school within the Los Angeles Unified School District. From there, I graduated from UCLA (twice)—first with a B.A. in Art History then with an M.A. in Education and a multiple subject credential.
I began teaching English and history within LAUSD in 2014 and became a member the Palms Middle School team in 2019.
Aside from teaching, I enjoy cooking, reading, and playing with my beloved Australian shepherd Luna.
